Wednesday’s Wonder: Old North Church

This Wednesday’s WONDER: Statue outside the Old North Church, Freedom Trail, Boston, MA. 

The Old North Church was built in 1723 and had an integral part in the American Revolution. The lanterns in the church were used as a signal from Paul Revere that the British troops were on the move, commencing the Americans’ quest to freedom. Just outside the Old North Church is this statue, which is easily viewable by Freedom Trail walkers… and is absolutely adored by birds, like the little pooper perched on his left shoulder…
