Wednesday’s Wonder: Hunting Dogs at Cheverny

This Wednesday’s Wonder: the hunting dogs at Chateau de Cheverny, Loire Valley, France.

Chateau de Cheverny is one of the many chateaus in France’s Loire Valley. It is one of the few castles to still be owned by the original family today, despite the changing of ownership and the volatile French Revolution. The family also owns about 100 hunting dogs who live daily in a large kennel and also hunt on occasion. Be sure to stay for their feeding at around 5:30 pm.

Watch out for these guys. They’re uh, well, they’re a bunch of stinkers. Literally.
