Wednesday’s Wonder: Tlaquepaque es Muy Bonita

This Wednesday’s Wonder: Tlaquepaque es muy bonita!

It was a hot and humid couple of days in Guadalajara. Having seen a lot of things in the city, we decided to check out surrounding cities. One of those was Tlaquepaque.

Now, to get there from Guadalajara, one can take the 275B (or the 647). Good luck with finding the bus stop shelter or any bus stop sign at all. In fact, good luck.

But, when you get there, it’s really kind of nice. We spent the afternoon sitting in the park, eating fresh mango and taking in the ridiculous heat and the view. It’s fun!

Que bonita Que bonita

  • It’s such a small world—Tony & I spent the month of May living in Tlaquepaque taking Spanish lessons. We LOVED it there so much and it was hard to leave after a month, but the rest of Mexico awaits and there is so much exploring for us to do. I’m glad you guys enjoyed your afternoon there, even dealing with the unintuitive bus system!
