Wednesday’s Wonder: Moose Stuff

This Wednesday’s Wonder: Art decal at a hostel in Thailand.

Confession: after I saw the movie Hostel, I held what I believe to be a very rational few of rooming in a hostel. You can’t exactly unsee that movie. So, for a very long time, I harbored the sentiment that staying at a hostel meant never coming back.

“Wrong” doesn’t even begin to describe how wrong I was.

Hostels aren’t even close to the sadistic murder houses they are portrayed as.

In fact, they’re actually quite trendy and fun. Some even come as close as boutique hotels in the amount of trendiness they offer. Like Lub*D Hostel in Bangkok, Thailand. We got our own private room and it was decorated with a functional, minimalist theme. The photo below is a moose used as a coat rack.

Isn’t it amazing that through travel, we will see so much more than we ever thought possible.
